“CasediCorte - Holiday Homes” is a popular historic building dated around 1760, inserted in a typical rural residential nucleus in the area of Lucca, named “Corte”, that is one of the first settlements in Orentano.
The position of "CasediCorte" is strategic for daily excursions, reaching the main attractions and points of interest of the Region. Thanks to the proximity of the A11 Motorway (exit 'Altopascio' at 5 km) the connection with Florence, in an east-west direction, with the sea, passing through Pistoia, Montecatini Terme, Lucca, Viareggio and other Versilia resorts is ensured. It is possible to connect Pisa to the east and Siena to the south-west. Renamed locations can be reached in 15 min., max 1 h 45 m. Thanks to the proximity of the Florence-Pisa-Livorno Great Communication Road (SGC FI-PI-LI), whose connection is located at 20 min. drive, Pisa Airport can be reached in 30 min. and the port of Livorno in 45 min., getting close to the whole Tuscan coast.
The Holiday Homes consists of three apartments of different surfaces: 40 square meters on the ground floor for 2 + 2 spleeping (1 bedroom and a convertible sofa); 48 square meters on the first floor for 2 + 2 sleeping (1 bedroom and a convertible sofa); 55 square meters on the second floor for 4 seats (2 bedrooms). In total, up to 12 people can be accommodated, to fit the needs of small families and of a group of friends who want to spend their holidays in Tuscany.
The building dates back to the 18th century, as evidenced by an old graphic in one of the houses. It has been recently renovated-restored and equipped with technological systems based on a ‘green’ philosophy that allowed to reach the “A” class for energy performance, thanks to heat pump, solar thermal and photovoltaic.
The apartments are furnished with early 20th century furniture and equipped with everything you need to feel at home: kitchen equipped with household appliances and accessories, bedrooms and bathrooms with linen, hot / cold / dehumidification air conditioning system.
Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, result of an interesting architectural design, inserted inside the structure, a heated wellness pool in a double volume space with an internal mezzanine leading to a large outdoor terrace. The "infinity" water pool has spa features, a waterfall, hydro massage, geyser and chromo-therapy and it is heated to 28° C, so it can also be used in the winter season. The pool can be accessed, even in the colder seasons, directly from inside each apartment. It will be therefore very pleasant to enjoy a warm bath having a view outside, perhaps, during a romantic snowfall.
The space is always well cared for and completely fenced off to ensure the privacy and safety of guests and, at the same time, close to the hosts, who are always welcoming and helpful, thanks also to their travel experience. It has small reserved area, pleasant and welcoming, from which it is also possible to come into contact with both an agricultural neighborhood and manor villas.
The structure is located in the center of the village. We repute particularly convenient the possibility to reach, at short walk distance, all the facilities of the village: restaurants, bars, groceries, pharmacy, barber shop, hairdressers, newsagent/tobacconist, etc. Car parking is available and free in the street.
Staying in our structure, in houses of popular and rural origin, where you can still breathe the air of the past, means getting close to the Tuscan culture, tasting relax on the deckchairs of a flowery terrace with a spectacular view of the pool through the glass floor, allowing moments of cocooning at the end of excursions in countryside, in the many typical villages and cities of art close to us.
